Last night at the banquet for the Lutheran Educators Conference I had the privilege of hearing an impressive young man named Jake Olson speak. He is the long snapper for the Orange Lutheran High School football team. While that may not sound remarkable, the fact that he is contributing to a football team even though he is blind makes for a compelling story. What is even more interesting is his expressions of faith and how God has led him on an amazing journey at such a young age to challenge others to fully put their trust in God as the Lord of their lives.
