360 Degree Questions Model

Lights Academy opened at Lutheran High School today, and I could not have been more pleased with the work and attitude of the students. One of the first activities we completed is that we practiced the art of questioning -- getting as many potential questions identified before honing in on a path of inquiry.

We used Padlet to compile these questions as students thought deeper about all of the different connections in our world. They did an excellent job of thinking through these connections with their questioning. Here are just a few of the questions they compiled:

This was a simple exercise in getting Academy students to think more deeply and with more curiosity about what is going on in this world at any one site or event. Asking good questions is the first step in getting good answers. Our students created well over 100 fascinating questions in 10 minutes. They are on their way to being deep thinkers and curious explorers! Well done Lights Academy students!
