Monday Links List

Here is a list of links I have discovered over the past few days, shared in no particular topical order:

  • A 7th grade student of mine discovered this excellent video on the mummification process:

  • If you teach upper level or secondary math, check out Desmos, an online graphing calculator. This site works as teacher tool and is especially powerful when combined with the features of an interactive whiteboard. Or it may be used as a student tool -- one which is available via multiple devices in the classroom.
  • Are you interested in blended learning models? Then travel to Blend My Learning for access to an online community designed to shared blended learning ideas.
  • Have you thought about helping your students become more involved on the technical end of our digital age? If so, littleBits is an "open source library of electronic modules that snap together with tiny magnets for prototyping and play." Looks like an excellent resource for an elective or after school club, though the components might become pricy very quickly.
What is your newest web find for your students or school? Share it as a comment to this post.
